things happened throughout the year.
and each of us being uniquely us, we went through different phases, different situations.
little by little, bit by bit
experience and emotions started to accumulate and collate in our heart
no matter good or bad.

of course, i'll say keep the good ones, throw away the bad ones
but how many can really do that?
even i myself aint confident to say that i can do that too.
but still, the bad ones they shall be my learning points
the good ones, they stay in my heart forever(:


one year of JC year passed for me.
i got to know more people ;
i got to understand more people ;
i got to understand myself more ;
i learnt so much more and most importantly
i am all ready for a new start(:



no idea what 2009 has in store for me
but no matter what, im gonna face it and take it head on.
enjoying and learning from the process itself.(:
also, preparation for my another milestone in my life.
a really big one.



but that doesn't mean i'll chuck my business books aside.
shall continue upgrading myself and work towards my target,
of becoming superrich and succeeding in life.
i shall so much in mind of what i want to do and it's about time i strive for it.





so that means less game , more discipline in '09.

how's christmas this year for all of you? (:
i had quite a good one.

well, like i said earlier, i had quite a nice christmas this year

at least it feel like christmas to me.

i find myself settling in for a christmas lunch.
have the usual turkey, ham and stuffs.

then it was out to meet viv.
long time never see her already, for like almost a year?



first stop was cinema at vivo.
watched Yes Man, starring Jim Carrey



















it's really really great i tell you.
i laughed from the start till the end of the movie.
the whole movie will just crack you up and lighten your mood(:
it's definitely worth your 6.50, 7 or 10 bucks!
you won't regret it, seriously(:

after the movie we travelled down to Clarke Quay for some drinks
was looking around for quite some time, before deciding to settle in Crazy Elephant.

it's a real nice bar.

the place's good, live band's great and ambience is awesome(:
all i can say is i just simply love the place.




















like i said, it has been a pretty good day for me.

and oh yeah, i suddenly have this thought today.

we only get to live life once and life is always full of opportunities and suprises. Should we turn all of it down with a foul and bad mood or welcome and enjoy it to the fullest?

learn to really live life and not just let it slip by.

this book definitely worth your hours and days of reading.
basically, i would say it's more of a kind of motivational and psychology book.
the main topic of the book focus on
how one could achieve and maintain a positive mindset and
"how you will come to know how you can have, be, or do anything you want."

im a quarter done with the book and from my perspective my 36bucks and days of reading has been worthwhile. shall post a few quotes here for the benefits of those who come to my blog(: so you see, coming to my blog often will benefit you guys. *laughs

and it'll be the welcoming of 2009.

life and things have been pretty mundane recently, at least for me.
worst of all, homework not done=.=
i've been saying

on the next day....
i repeat the same thing. *sigh
looks like im just not disciplined enough.

well..
im finally back here in Sg.
and seriously i dont feel good or happy about it.
I've gotten myself used to my malaysia life again..
it jus feel so sick to be back here again

i miss my grandma

i miss my cousin
i miss my good o' friend there
and there's a special someone i miss too...terribly

my grandma said smth today i came back
and really, it was spot on
which made me feel really lousy

i miss that period of time when i was young.


found out from my grandma that when i was younger
i had a VERY high fever once
was admitted to hospital.
she was so worried that my brain will get damaged and i'll become a retard.
my grandma took care of me for several nights, without sleep
and that enable me to recover in a much faster time than i should had.

my grandma took care of me from young till i was about pri 1, which is about 8 year old.
for 8 years, a solid 8 years
everyday i had the company of her , my grand-dad and my uncle
they doted me so much.
if im able to describe it in words back then
i'll feel like i had the world back then.
they know EVERY bit of my habit
know what i like to eat, know how the way i will eat my stuff, know how the way i will behave, know where i would hide and what would i do when i got scolded.

when i first got brought to Singapore by my parents
my grandma cried every night, because she cant feel the presence of me around her
and so did I, cried the worst i can for several nights.
8 years, she slept beside me all along

i still rmb how she will scratch my back for me because of a habit i have
i still rmb how i used to hold her hand every night if not i'll not be able to fall asleep.
i still rmb how she will bring me to my kindergarden in the car, telling alot of interesting stuffs.
i still rmb how she will wait along the road for my school van to come and bring me home when i was Primary 1.
i still rmb how how we ate lunch together at home, in a metal tin which i particularly preferred.
i will NEVER ever forget what she has done for me, NEVER, and so i wouldn't forget what my uncle and grandpa did for me too, how they doted me, that will stay in my heart FOREVER.

Everything just seems so memorable.
If there's a chance, I WANT TIME TO TURN BACK...

I just hate leaving and parting
it just make me feel so bad, so weak, so no-control-over it.
I JUST HATE IT.

i appealed into NYJC via badminton.
I owe the teacher.
Though via appeal it's still possible to quit,
plus the fact that together with me the 3 appeal students into NYJC via badminton have bought the teacher a sort of thankyou gift,
but it still makes me feel damn bad quitting it.


One side of me is like.
hey come on, just quit man.
Why give yourself so much stress so much trouble?
After all you are able to quit.
Besides, you are really yearning to go back to malaysia to visit your 15-year friend and your family isn't it?
Plus your knee isn't in the best condition already, do you wan to carry a walking stick by 40+ year old?
And by quitting, you can focus more on studies next year too.
Then everyday you wun have to dread going to trainings and start getting pissed and stress over this for the whole day.

The other side of me.
Hey dude, you came into this school cos the teacher helped you.

and because of my slow and reaction to stupidly say that it's a school name (SORRY Folks)
we weren't allow entry ):

so switched to bowling instead.

i really got to say this agn.

Sharon is really a damn good bowler.

amongst my friends, i think she's the best already, lol.
cos we were like separated into 2 groups, one lane each
my group comprising of sultan me pg serene was beside sharon cg zx and darren.
when conincidentally my turn clashed with sharon's turn
i was like ........ better dont go first, LOL
cos definitely one side is strike, the other side will be like.... washing the "drain"?
haha!

so that's pretty much the ending activity of the day already.
cos at abt 5+ me den sharon and serene left
leaving only abt 7 ppl there at the chalet :x




sad that it's over.

and not long after, cg called, ask me go find him bring him to chalet o.o
and for that, i took like 1 hour to look for where he is.

the best part is, we're like only a few hundred metres away from each other but i end up cycling to and fro to find him=.=

luckily, with the help of zhi xiang, we managed to find the lost cow in the end *laughs.

fire started at like 7++
with almost everyone around already.
so, having a recent experience,

i act pro act pro "geh-kiang geh kiang" go bbq the food, haha!
luckily all turned out ok, edible at the very least, lol.
it went almost to 11 before we celebrate the nov babies bday aft the arrival of regina and meilani (im not sure whether dec babies included)

by then
my shirt was turning from white to black
and whole body stink of smoke=.=
but then, i nvr care much too, haha!


in the midst
played Taboo with sharon, yanting, serene, zhiyun,mr chow ms adele lim me myself and cg.

it was awfully fun!!!
we had a blast of a time trying to describe the specified "object/word" without saying those
taboo words. (:
and mr chow so called "suprise" us with a tub of prepared ice-cream.
we were like rejoicing lahs~
what's chalet without ice cream? LOL ( that sounds weird, haha)

after that for me was mahjong mahjong mahjong!~ (:
finally i managed to grasp a little or so and can really play.

she was super high throughout the night and laughed a great deal, lol.

with his super weird but entertaining actions that kept us laughing like mad ppl, haha!
he actually used his actions to lead us to pronounce the word "breast" when the word is actually best.

and his actions for the song title "can i have this dance"
instead of playing the scene of a man inviting a woman to a dance
he made it look like some old pervert freak harassing a woman.

but then all of us played through the night till 5am.

i feel that teachers shouldn't put their personal grudges against students when handling the formal affairs and school work of their respective students.

it's a person's future you're handling, not your personal stuffs.

even if you do face personal problems and stress in your life, you should keep work and personal life apart.

A teacher carries a huge and holy responsibility in upbringing of the nation's and world's future pillars.

be a good role model for the students, "disciples" you have.

be professional, be responsible.

but personally i feel that

you ought to be motivational and inspiring

at the same time encouraging and potray patience as one of your oustanding characteristic

time have been "flying" past
our 24 hours/day are used up even before we know it.
and before you realise
one week is gone.


a year has already passed.

his friends, his schoolmates, 0813-mates have all went through 1 year of JC already too.




to think back, roughly at 7 months ago
this was still on my mind

Human Evolution



we have evolved so much haven't we?
from the early homosapiens, to the superior race Mankind today.

From knowing nothing about the Earth and surroundings,
to now, where research are carried out whether can we survive on other planets
and invention of new things, new items and GM crop.




An area overlooked by most of us, we have evolved much in that too.
The socialisation and handling of feelings, as well as mindset and traditional values









How we handle situations today

how we socialise today

how we treat relationships today

how we see traditional values today

how we go about doing things today


it has really changed soooo much.
In a way good, yet in another way bad.

Evolution make us able to handle disastrous and critical situations in a much more efficient and sensible way.
However
evolution has make us into what we are today
backstab, hatred, anger, revenge etc...



It's like
everything we do we have to watch our backs
make sure it's well protected
otherwise, you'll be dead before you know
and you wouldn't know why.

thats how cruel and cold the society is now, i believe.
but to think agn, by doing any of those things above,
will it really reverse the situation, or just further worsen it?
will it hurt others?
will it hurt yourself?

we have really changed so much,
that we got so much more clever than before.

today is the "USE YOUR HAND CAMPAIGN" day in my sch, NYJC

imagine cleaning up classrooms, walls, and even toilets *phew
fortunately, my class was just assigned to classrooms and some open space.



not very productive i will say, meaning the system
but then agn, we had fun(((:









ended off at about 10 am
gosh.
i went sch for just 2 hours.
1st hour to hand in project work stuffs.

tot there was a class outing
but then everyone was like leaving, things were left undecided
so then i ran off firs already

so as mentioned, i went off for brunch with another group of friends

well, after meal a little exercise always help doesn't it?
